Locum Anesthesiologist Needed in NY

Job Title: Locum Anesthesiologist - New York

Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia for ortho, GS, OB/Gyn, plastic, vascular, and other general surgeries.
• Perform regional blocks for OR cases.
• Work in 100% OR and L&D with no outpatient pain management.
• Join a mid-sized anesthesia group with CRNAs, anesthesia techs, PAs, and other OR staff.
• Supervise CRNAs as needed.

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist.
• ACLS certification required, MMR needed.
• Must have a clean file with no malpractice or work gaps.
• No pediatric anesthesia experience required (but welcomed).
• Ability to perform regional blocks.
• Availability for on-call duties and flexible working hours.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 7 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call shifts as agreed

Support Staff:

• CRNAs, anesthesia techs, nurses, OR techs, PAs
• Directors and Managers for support
• Level III Trauma center

EMR System:

• EPIC
