Pathology Locums - Ohio, Fall 2025 Blocks Available

Join a collaborative pathology team in southern Ohio with a mix of surgical and general pathology cases.

Highlights

• September–December blocks available now
• No nights or weekend call (unless desired)

Practice Setting

• 211-bed nonprofit hospital
• 2–3 pathologists scheduled per day
• Support team includes histotechs, cytotechs, and tech assistants
• EMR: Medetiche; Dictation: Dragon

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8a–5p
• Some overtime possible
• Open dates: Sept 8–12, Sept 15–19, Sept 29–Oct 13, and more

Cases and Procedures

• Must perform own grossing (3–4 hours every third day)
• 30–40 surgical cases/day + 10 cytology
• Mix of GI, breast, gyn, surgical nephrology, and general pathology
• No hematopathology; sent to Mayo Clinic

Requirements

• Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
• Must provide own grossing
• Ohio license or IMLC (strong preference)
• BLS required
