Practice Overview
- Join a comprehensive cancer center model with infusion, radiation oncology, navigation support, and multidisciplinary collaboration under one roof
- High-volume solid tumor mix (approx. 80% oncology / 20% hematology) with strong breast, prostate, lung, colorectal, and head & neck exposure
- Outpatient-focused practice with inpatient support handled via phone consults with hospitalists
- Procedures not required (bone marrow biopsies optional; also available via IR)
Schedule
- 4 clinical days + 1 administrative day (40 hours/week); clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- No weekend or holiday clinic; new patient visits typically 60 minutes and follow-ups 30 minutes
- Call averages 8 days/month including one weekend (you choose your call days); typically low volume (around 6 calls/month)
- After-hours RN triage support covers weeknights and weekends to reduce unnecessary interruptions
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary from $600,000 (Medical Onc/Hem-Onc); Medical Director option includes $650,000 base plus $75,000 stipend
- $100,000 sign-on bonus paid over 3 years, plus bonus potential and relocation support
- PTO accrual up to 256 hours/year (about 32 days) plus CME: $4,000/year and 5 CME PTO days
- 401(k) with automatic 5% employer contribution, 457(b) option, and malpractice coverage provided
Candidate Requirements
- Board eligible/board certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology-Oncology
- 1–2 years of experience preferred for staff role, but new grads are welcome
- Leadership-track option available for experienced physicians (ideal: 5+ years) interested in program development and mentorship
- J-1 and H-1B sponsorship available
