Inpatient and Outpatient

MD/DO

A facility in Pennsylvania is looking for a Gastroenterologist to provide locum tenens coverage during a long-term locums assignment.

** Practice Setting:**

  • Inpatient/Outpatient setting

    • Charting: Epic

** Schedule:**

  • 24 hour call only
  • Hospital & call coverage

** Cases and Procedures:**

  • Upper GI Endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), and injection of varices
  • ERCP (diagnostic, therapeutic, and with PEG) preferred
  • Esophageal dilatation/manometry and small Bowel biopsy
  • Lower GI Endoscopy including Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible and Rigid), Colonoscopy, with biopsy and excision of polyp

** Requirements:**

  • Board-certified Gastroenterologist
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Licensed in Pennsylvania
