Cardiology Locums - Maryland Physician

Cardiology locum opportunity in Maryland with multi-week blocks still available in Annapolis.

Highlights:

• Urgent need to cover 2 weeks in November
• Inpatient Cardiology with night and weekend call rotation
• Work includes rounding, consults, echo/EGK reads, stress test supervision
• Multiple blocks still open through early 2026

Practice Setting:

• Hospital-based Cardiology coverage
• Support from interventional and APP staff (weekday)
• MD-only coverage on weekends

Schedule:

• 7am–7pm Monday–Friday
• Night call every other day (7pm–7am)
• 24-hour weekend call rotation
• Includes Heart Station coverage (imaging/EKGs) when assigned

Cases and Procedures:

• General inpatient Cardiology
• EKG interpretation, echo reads, stress test supervision
• Approx. 10–15 patients/day; night calls are rare (≈5 in-person/year)

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Maryland license required
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required

Travel Accommodations:

• Airfare, rental car, lodging, and mileage fully covered
