Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Locums Physician - California, No Call or Weekends

Outpatient-only primary care just over an hour from Sacramento International Airport; no call, no weekends.

Highlights

• No call, no weekends, no holidays
• Start this September; 60-day assignment with option to extend

Practice Setting

• Physician-led team with MA, onsite X-ray, lab, and behavioral health
• Two exam rooms per provider, supportive and high-satisfaction environment
• AthenaOne EHR; training provided

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8a–5p (30-min lunch)
• Work 4–5 days/week; your choice
• Up to 20 patients/day; start lower and ramp up if preferred

Cases and Procedures

• Focus on chronic adult care: diabetes, HTN, post-op, acute visits
• Patients 16+ only; no OB, no pediatrics
• Onsite labs, basic procedures, and culture handling

Requirements

• Active California license and DEA
• Background check and UDS required
• Interview with clinic leadership

Travel Accommodations

• Lodging, mileage, rental car, and flights covered
• Located ~1 hour from Sacramento International Airport (SMF)
