With a $675,000 guaranteed base for your first two years, dedicated oncology support services, and a collaborative team of physicians and APPs, this opportunity provides the clinical infrastructure and stability to build a rewarding long-term practice in Indiana.
Practice Overview
- You’ll join an established team with 3 Hem/Onc physicians, 2 Radiation Oncologists, and 4 APPs
- Practice model includes outpatient clinic/infusion with consultative inpatient coverage (no OR)
- Strong support: dedicated oncology pharmacy, 5 nurse navigators, triage nurse, 2 oncology social workers, and financial navigation
- Epic EMR with oncology regimen software; tumor board participation with streamlined access to radiation, surgical oncology, and specialized pathology
Schedule
- 4-day work week (4x10s) plus 1 dedicated administrative day, Monday–Friday
- 18–20 patients/day in clinic; typically 1–3 inpatient consults/day
- Shared call rotation with strong inpatient support—APP manages daily inpatient rounds and active oncology admissions
- On your primary call weekend, you’ll round on inpatients Saturday and Sunday
Compensation & Benefits
- $675,000 guaranteed base minimum for the first 2 years
- wRVU model: $93 per wRVU, plus value-based incentives up to $58,250 annually
- $60,000 sign-on bonus (relocation included); additional $6,000/year per 1.0 APP FTE supervised
- 32 days PTO, $5,000 CME + 5 CME days, malpractice coverage, and comprehensive benefits with retirement matching (PSLF eligible)
Candidate Requirements
- MD/DO required
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology Oncology
- Open to new grads and experienced physicians
- Visa sponsorship available, including Conrad 30 waiver support
