Build a High-Demand GI Program in the Blue Ridge Mountains

A respected, not-for-profit health system in Asheville, is recruiting a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to help grow a new in-house GI program. With more than 400 referrals per month and strong relationships across the region, you will step into immediate volume, excellent support, and a chance to shape a service line in a community that values both quality care and quality of life.

Practice Overview

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient GI with opportunities for advanced procedures
• Access to three hospital-based procedure rooms with block time available
• Strong support from a dedicated colorectal surgeon and an established cancer program
• Leadership opportunity to help establish and guide the GI team
• Regional collaborations with Duke, UNC, Wake Forest, and MUSC
• Call is limited to no more than 1 in 4

### Schedule

• Two days per week in the OR and two clinic days
• Predictable Monday through Friday schedule

### Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $601,000 with additional RVU compensation * $50,000 signing bonus and annual quality bonus
• Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, malpractice, retirement, and CME
• Student loan repayment options and eligibility for PSLF
• PTO and relocation assistance included

### Candidate Profile

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Trained in general GI; open to advanced procedures
• Open to new graduates and experienced candidates
