Locums Hematology and Oncology Physician in Waterbury, Connecticut - Outpatient Focus

Provide hematology and oncology coverage alongside an established multidisciplinary cancer care team.

Practice & Cases

• Mix of outpatient and inpatient hematology and oncology care

• Work alongside radiation oncologists, APPs, and nurse oncology staff

• Participation in tumor board activities and treatment planning

• Average of 15–16 outpatient visits and 1–5 inpatient patients daily

Schedule

• Outpatient clinic Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday

• Clinic hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

• Shared 1:3 evening and weekend call rotation

• Coverage needed September through December

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO

• Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology

• Active Connecticut license required

• BLS certification required

Logistics

• Mileage reimbursement available

• Local providers preferred
