Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient Endocrinology
- Outpatient volume, 19 patients per day
- Adult patient population only
- Typical work includes reviewing test results, refilling prescriptions, and providing curbside consults when contacted by hospitalists
- Nurses will be on call and triage before escalating to provider on-call
Schedule
- Weekdays include clinic plus call
- Weekend call coverage only, no clinic
- Weekend call is by phone for outpatient and inpatient, L&D only with no rounding, includes management of Geste patients
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Endocrinology
- Pennsylvania license required, will not wait for license
- BLS and ACLS required
