Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity in KY

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join our community-focused team in Kentucky. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced physician or recent residency graduate who is looking for a supportive, high-acuity environment with competitive compensation and work-life balance.

Practice Details:

  • 40-bed ED with advanced technology, including Trauma, Behavioral Health, and Fast Track rooms
  • Level III Trauma Center certified in sepsis, stroke, and ACS, with a Level III NICU
  • ED sees approximately 60,000 visits annually
  • Average of 15–20 patients per 9-hour shift
  • Join a team of 14 Emergency Medicine physicians and 9 Advanced Practice Clinicians
  • Full-spectrum care with hospitalist backup and strong specialty support
  • Opportunity to teach as part of the Family Medicine Residency Program

** Schedule:**

  • Flexible schedule of 182 nine-hour shifts per year (~15/month)
  • Staggered shifts proportionally split between days, swing, and nights
  • Double physician coverage on days/evenings; 3 physicians on at night

** Compensation & Benefits:**

  • Base salary of $466,830 annually, plus up to $75,000 upfront bonus and $20,000 engagement bonus
  • Extra shifts paid at a $30/hour premium
  • Up to $100K in student loan repayment ($25K/year over 4 years)
  • Residency stipend available
  • Malpractice insurance with 3-year tail coverage
