Gastroenterology Locums in Michigan

An immediate and ongoing locum tenens assignment is available for an experienced Gastroenterology Physician in Michigan

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based practice in Michigan for this locums assignment
• Daily volume of 18 outpatients and 20 inpatient scopes
• Collaborate with a team of 2 Physicians and 2 APPs
• All support services, including lab and XRay, are onsite

Schedule

• Daily shift hours are 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Schedule includes 24-hour weekend call

Procedures and Cases

• Primary responsibility is providing Endoscopy coverage

• Must be proficient and willing to perform ERCP

• Manage and consult on all inpatient gastroenterology cases

Requirements

• Active Michigan state licensure and CSR at the time of submission is mandatory
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology is required
• Must hold active ACLS and DEA certifications
• Prior post-fellowship experience (minimum 2-3 years) is non-negotiable
