Practice Setting

• Outpatient care setting
• Patient panel is adults only* Full care team with 2 APs, 1 MD, 1 Psychologist, RNs, and Technicians

Schedule

• Full-time, 5 days a week * Hours are 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday through Friday * Rotation through various 16-bed units * No call or weekends

Procedures and Cases

• Minimal wound care if needed
• Treat conditions like anxiety, heart issues, pregnancy, STDs, and psychiatric medication interactions
• Capable of prescribing medications, ordering labs, and interpreting results
• Specialize in addiction and trauma cases, with high-risk situations referred to the Emergency Room

Requirements

• BC or BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• DEA certification
• North Carolina state licensure required
• Orientation includes BLS, CPI, and de-escalation training
