Gastroenterology Locums Physician – Tennessee, ERCP Required

Join a hospital-based GI team in Tennessee offering 1-2 week blocks.

Highlights

• Only 1-2 weeks per month; you choose your blocks
• ERCP required; no EUS
• All travel covered, including airfare and lodging
• Open to IMLC physicians

Practice Setting

• Inpatient consult service in a Level III trauma center
• Alternating weeks at two hospitals, 20 mins apart
• Endoscopy suite and main OR access
• Support from OR and in-house endo nursing

Schedule

• 24-hour call, 7a-7a, one-week blocks
• Workdays include rounding, urgent consults, and procedures
• Flexible block schedule with time off between weeks

Cases and Procedures

• GI bleeds, abdominal pain, food bolus, elevated liver enzymes
• General GI with ERCP required
• No EUS or clinic coverage

Requirements

• Board certified in Gastroenterology
• ERCP proficiency required
• Active Tennessee license or IMLC LOQ
• BLS, ACLS, DEA required
• Must be experienced in high-volume, inpatient GI

Travel Accommodations

• Travel, lodging, rental car, and mileage all covered
• Nearest major airport: Nashville International (BNA)
