Practice Setting

• Inpatient setting within a large, 500+ bed facility
• Hospital support staff available to assist
• Rotating call coverage with ENT, Oral Surgery, and Plastic Surgery groups

Schedule

• 24-hour shifts from 8 a.m. to 8 a.m

Cases and Procedures

• Focus on facial trauma, including mandibles, orbital floors, and lid lacerations
• Handle cases from the ED, perform procedures, and manage post-op rounds and inpatient consultations
• Call volume is typically around 5-6 consults per day

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible within 5 years in Otolaryngology, Oral Surgery, or Plastic Surgery * Comfortable working independently in a busy trauma center
• South Carolina state licensure required
• Must be adept at managing facial trauma cases
