Cardiothoracic Surgery Opportunity in Albany, Georgia

Join an established cardiothoracic surgery program serving as the only CT program within a 90-mile radius. This cardiac-focused opportunity offers strong institutional support, dedicated OR resources, and growing heart volume with the ability to make an immediate impact. You’ll step into an established practice with a $650K base salary, huge RVU upside, and a manageable 1:3 call schedule.

Practice Overview

• You’ll join one cardiac-focused surgeon and one thoracic-focused surgeon, replacing a retiring physician
• Focus primarily on cardiac surgery within a program currently performing approximately 150 heart cases annually, with volume growing
• Work alongside 3 perfusionists, 3 dedicated APPs, and intensivists who manage post-operative care
• Dedicated CT operating room and OR time, plus a 25-bed PCU step-down unit and an entire floor dedicated to post-operative care

Schedule

• 1:3 call shared across the CT surgery team
• Dedicated OR time supports consistent procedural access
• Intensivist coverage for post-operative care helps keep your focus on surgery
• Established APP support extends into the outpatient practice

Compensation & Benefits

• $650,000 ongoing base salary plus RVU bonuses
• $60,000 sign-on bonus and up to $15,000 in relocation assistance
• $7,000 CME allowance, 20 days PTO, and 7 holidays
