This OB hospitalist assignment offers in-house coverage with flexible block scheduling and opportunities to work alongside residents in a teaching environment.

Practice & Cases:

• Hospital-based labor and delivery unit
• Adult and newborn patient population
• Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• OB emergencies and gynecologic consults

Schedule:

• 24-hour in-house shifts
• Approximately 4 shifts per month
• Option to group shifts into blocks
• Ongoing coverage with open dates

Requirements:

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Iowa license required
• BLS certification required

Logistics:

• Travel and lodging provided
• Rental car or mileage available
