Ongoing Locums Radiation Oncology Opportunity in Ohio

Looking for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity that offers both inpatient and outpatient care? We have a need for a Radiation Oncologist in Ohio to provide coverage 3-4 days per week on an ongoing basis. This is a chance to work with a well-supported team in a reputable facility.

Practice Setting

• A Level 3 Trauma and Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center
• Part of a fully accredited cancer center
• Work with a dedicated team of clinical managers, physicists, and staff
• Support from research and nurse navigators
• In-house pharmacy and palliative care available

Schedule

• Part-time coverage of 3-4 days per week is required
• This is a full-time, ongoing need to help with a vacancy
• No call responsibilities for this role

Procedures and Cases

• Techniques : Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS
• Treatment Planning : 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI)
• External Beam Therapy (EBRT) : Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, Electrons

Requirements

• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
• Active Ohio license or Open to IMLC Physicians
• ABLS and BLS certifications are required
• Must have experience with both inpatient and outpatient rounding
• Will be required to see assigned patients
