*A pure trauma call role with no clinic responsibilities and no elective surgical blocks. Dedicated physician assistant support helps keep coverage focused on operative trauma care and inpatient management. *

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient coverage at a Level III trauma center
• Predominantly geriatric trauma population with seasonal recreational trauma cases
• Hip fractures, distal radius fractures, ankle fractures, and long bone injuries
• Dedicated trauma physician assistants assist with rounds, admissions, and first assisting

Schedule

• Trauma call coverage only
• Target commitment of 7 to 10 days per month
• No clinic responsibilities
• Ongoing monthly coverage need

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
• Active Oregon medical license required
• ACLS, ATLS, and DEA required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
• Travel accommodations provided for scheduled coverage blocks
