Hematology and Oncology Physician Locums, Louisiana - Flexible Schedule

Outpatient hematology and oncology opportunity in New Orleans with fast credentialing and flexible scheduling options.

Highlights:

• Temp privileges available

• Full-time or 2 weeks/month — you pick the schedule

  • Long-term assignment until permanent hire

Practice Setting:

• Outpatient cancer center in New Orleans
• Mix of hematology (40%) and oncology (60%) cases
• Support from inpatient APP team and full nursing staff
• Main site need at Tuoro, 15 minutes from optional secondary site

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8a–5p
• Light call — 1:6 weekly rotation
• Work 2 weeks/month or ongoing full-time
• Assignment continues until permanent hire is secured

Cases and Procedures:

• Adults only — no CART or BMT
• 20 patients per day on average
• Epic experience required

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Hematology, Oncology, or both
• Active Louisiana license or open to IMLC physicians
• BLS and DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of post-training experience

Travel Accommodations:

• Travel, lodging, rental car, and airfare provided
• Mileage reimbursed
