Locums Critical Care Physician Assistant near New Orleans, Louisiana - No Call, Night Shifts

Provide overnight CTICU coverage for a high-acuity heart and lung transplant population while working alongside onsite physician and resident support.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient cardiac critical care environment
• Heart and lung transplant, ECMO, and ventilator management patients
• Perform intubations, line placement, and bedside ICU procedures
• Adult-only patient population with high-acuity critical care needs

Schedule

• 12-hour overnight shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• PRN coverage model with recurring shift blocks
• Option to pick up select weeks each month
• No call responsibilities

Requirements

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Louisiana license required
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
• Critical Care experience required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are covered
• Travel accommodations arranged for scheduled coverage blocks
