Correctional psychiatry assignment in Texas, near Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), with weekday-only hours and long-term potential.

Practice Setting

• Newly opened correctional facility (Sept 2025)
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
• Clinical support includes psychiatric mid-levels
• Secure and structured environment

Schedule

• Full-time only; 40 hours per week
• Shift flexibility: choose from early or late start (6:30a–3p or 9:30a–6p)
• 4x10 schedule available at most sites

Cases and Procedures

• Direct psychiatric care, including psych and neuro exams
• Participation in admission and medication due process
• Forensic experience a plus, but not required

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years) in Psychiatry
• Active Texas license or IMLC LOQ
• DEA and BLS required
• Must pass background and drug screening
