Practice Setting

• Inpatient-focused interventional role
• STEMI coverage, rounding, consults, emergency procedures
• General cardiology handled by separate inpatient team
• Supported by dedicated NP and 2 other interventional cardiologists

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7a–5p
• Work only 1–2 weeks per month — you pick the weeks
• Weekend call optional and may be available to add
• Assignment begins this fall

Cases and Procedures

• Adult-only inpatient census ~20 (shared with NP)
• STEMI volume averages 2 per day
• No structural required

Requirements

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
• Active Louisiana license or IMLC LOQ
• ACLS and DEA required
• At least 2 years of recent interventional experience

Travel Accommodations

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage fully covered
