Locum Interventional Cardiologist New Mexico

*Interventional Cardiology locums coverage opportunity in New Mexico with a mix of inpatient, clinic, and procedural work with ongoing need. *

Practice Setting

• Inpatient + outpatient coverage (clinic and hospital-based consults)
• Clinic volume typically 15–20 patients per day
• Inpatient consults generally 2–5 per day (procedure volume varies)
• Clinic schedule adjusts around procedure needs and is flexible for the right candidate

Schedule

• Coverage blocks typically 7–10 days per month
• Ongoing need until a permanent hire is in place
• Start timeframe is ASAP w/ temp privileges allowed w/ clean background

Cases and Procedures

• Cardiac catheterizations
• AICD/pacemaker inserts and changes
• TEEs

Requirements

• MD/DO
• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
• Active New Mexico license required (cannot wait for license)
