Practice Setting

• Inpatient setting, adults only
• Inpatient and ER consults as needed, operate as required for patient needs
• Weekend rounding for a few hours daily on Saturday and Sunday, shared with the NVS APP
• APP supervision required, APP is on call with the physician each weekend

Schedule

• 24 hour call coverage on the assigned weekend
• Call requirement is 1 weekend/month
• Weekend call runs from Friday evening through Monday morning
• Ongoing PRN need for weekend call coverage

Cases and Procedures

• Respond to pages and calls to determine emergent need
• Non emergent needs can be followed up by NVS staff the next business day
• Provide inpatient and ER consults
• Operate as required based on patient needs

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
• Active Georgia license required, will not wait for license
• DEA required
