Locum - Physician - Surgery - Orthopedic Mason City, Iowa

## Iowa Orthopedic Surgery - Flexible Schedule

Practice Setting:

• Trauma Level 3 hospital serving as a hub for 16 counties
• Work alongside a team of 4 physicians and 7 APPs
• Supervision of APPs is expected

Schedule:

• Clinic days are Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm
• 24-hour on-call coverage is required
• Inpatient and ED consults and post-op rounding are expected

Procedures and Cases:

• Total joint replacement of the hip, knee, and shoulder
• Trauma injuries, fracture care, and sports medicine
• Surgical procedures for the hand, wrist, knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, and foot

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Must have an active Iowa license or IMLC
• Clean malpractice history is required
