OB/GYN Physician | Clinical Leadership | $450K Base | Mississippi Delta
Join a growing women’s health initiative expanding obstetrical services across the Mississippi Delta. This role combines full-scope OB/GYN care with clinical leadership and teaching, offering the opportunity to serve as Clinical Lead for a developing Midwife Training Program while helping shape a regional model for maternal health care.
Position Highlights
- Opportunity to serve as Clinical Lead for a developing Midwife Training Program
- New Women’s Health Clinic scheduled to open in 2026
- Full-scope OB/GYN practice with routine obstetrics and gynecologic procedures
- 50/50 split between clinical duties and leadership/teaching during program buildout
- Opportunity to mentor rotating midwives and fellows
- Growing regional demand for obstetrical services
- Collaborative physician-midwife care model focused on maternal health access
Schedule & Call
- Current 1:3 call schedule transitioning toward 1:4 and eventually 1:5 coverage
- Certified Nurse Midwives provide frontline labor triage and routine management support
- Two full anesthesia and OR teams available 24/7
- Established emergency C-section response protocols
Compensation & Benefits
- $450,000 guaranteed base salary plus productivity incentives
- Flexible $175,000 incentive package for sign-on, relocation, and loan assistance
- 40 days of paid time off annually

Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN
- 3–10+ years of experience preferred
- Interest in rural health, mentorship, and collaborative care
- Mississippi medical license or ability to obtain
