Position Summary:

Our Texas healthcare facility seeks a dedicated Medical Director to oversee and coordinate the clinical activities of our PACE team, including providing high-quality geriatric care.

** Practice Details and Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct performance evaluations, oversee participant care, and ensure adherence to medical standards and compliance
  • Collaborate with executives, manage clinical outcomes, and supervise healthcare personnel
  • Oversee pharmacy services, manage relationships with subspecialty contractors, and screen/negotiate with potential medical staff
  • Implement and manage Quality Improvement and Utilization Management programs to optimize outcomes

** Schedule:**

  • Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

    • No weekend duties

** Financials & Benefits:**

  • Annual guaranteed base salary

** Requirements:**

  • Medical Director experience is preferred, but interim or earlier leadership roles considered

    • Proficiency in Spanish preferred
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine required

    • Texas medical license preferred, but not mandatory
