• 10 days per month; choose consecutive or split blocks
• Low patient volume, average 2 calls per night, not always requiring in-person response

Practice Setting

• Level 2 trauma hospital environment
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• Majority of patients are adult and geriatric, with very little pediatric coverage

Schedule

• 24-hour call assignments with 30-minute response time
• Dates still open for short-term and ongoing coverage
• Option to work in 5-day or 10-day blocks

Cases and Procedures

• Level 2 trauma coverage, primarily hip fractures and related injuries
• Focus on patient handoffs to incoming trauma surgeons
• Routine orthopedic trauma procedures expected

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible within 5 years in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active DEA, BLS, and ATLS required
• Open to IMLC-licensed physicians with LOQ
