Practice Setting:
- Inpatient coverage
- Call responsibility for 3 hospitals all within a 10-mile radius
- Work independently with assistance from urology-specific APPs during weekdays
Schedule:
- Consistent block scheduling: Monday 7a to Monday 7a
- Only one 7-day block required per month
- 24-hour call with a 30-minute response time
- Enjoy substantial time off between your scheduled blocks
Procedures and Cases:
- General bread and butter urology, consults, and emergent surgeries
- Procedures include Cystos
- Pediatric cases are minimal, primarily consisting of Testicular Torsion
Requirements:
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Urology
- Must hold an active Pennsylvania medical license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience
Credentialing Requirements:
- Standard credentialing process is approximately 60 days
- Temporary privileges can be granted for a quicker start
