Practice Overview

  • You’ll join an employed Emergency Medicine team in a respected community hospital setting (10-bed ED, ~15,000 visits/year, ~40 patients/day)
  • Single-physician coverage model with APP support (about 10 hours of APP coverage daily)
  • Broad “bread-and-butter” EM across all ages, with a manageable rural/community case mix
  • Optional involvement with teaching through a Family Medicine Residency Program



Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts: 7a–7p and 7p–7a
  • Full-time target is ~142 shifts/year (about 12 shifts/month)
  • Day and night rotations are evenly distributed to keep scheduling fair
  • 24-hour physician coverage with consistent APP support to help maintain flow

Compensation & Benefits

  • $426,000 guaranteed base (3-year guarantee) built on a $250/hour structure
  • $35,000 upfront bonus plus up to $50,000 engagement bonus
  • Up to $100,000 student loan repayment ($25K/year for 4 years) and residency stipend available ($2,000/month)
  • $6,000 CME annually + $2,000 for licensure/professional expenses; comprehensive benefits and malpractice with tail included

Candidate Requirements

  • ABEM/AOBEM Board-Certified or Board-Eligible preferred; MD or DO welcome
  • Family Medicine physicians with significant Emergency Medicine experience will be considered
  • Comfortable treating full-spectrum patients (pediatrics through geriatrics)
  • Seeking physicians interested in a longer-term home (3+ years preferred); U.S. citizen or Green Card
