Short-term hospitalist and emergency medicine hybrid assignment in rural Nebraska with solo coverage and a quick start option.
Highlights:
- Provide both ED and inpatient coverage in one role

Practice Setting:
- Rural hospital with 16 total beds
- Average census: ~3 patients per day
- Sleeping amenities provided for on-call hours
- Specialty support from anesthesia
Schedule:
- 24-hour shifts, 12 pm to 12 pm
- Typically 12–15 hours of active work with remaining hours on call
- Orientation provided (weekday, 4 hours)
- Short-term assignment still open for September
Cases and Procedures:
- All ages, inpatient and emergency coverage
- Procedures required: central lines, intubations, chest tubes, and vent management
Requirements:
- Board Certified Emergency Nurse Practitioner
- Active Nebraska license required
- ACLS and BLS certifications
