Highlights:
- Low-intensity 1:2 call — mostly consults
- Credentialing in 30–60 days with temp privileges

- Interventional work available if desired
Practice Setting:
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
- Adults only; no dedicated APP support
- Hospital-based and clinic GI lab coverage
- EMR: Epic
- Full-scope GI preferred; ERCP/EUS not required
Schedule:
- Ongoing 1–2 weeks per month
- Clinic every Tuesday and Wednesday morning
- Remaining time for consults, scopes, and call
- Call includes 8 gratis weekday hours and 4 weekend
- Open dates still available across July to December
Procedures and Cases:
- General GI including clinic, lab, and consults
- ERCP and EUS optional — paid at premium if performed
- Volume: 12–16 patients per day
- Minimal emergent procedures; consults dominate
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years) in GI
- Active NC license and in-state DEA required
- Current BLS and DEA
Credentialing Requirements:
- 30–60 days for clean files
- Temps available for qualified candidates
