Practice Setting

• Two locations consisting of a Level 3 trauma center and a community hospital
• Comprehensive specialty support available for most cases, excluding transplants, burns, and adult spine cases
• Ample specialty support from APCs

** Schedule**

• Flexible scheduling across various shifts!

  • No call required – onsite coverage only
  • Physician shifts range from 8-10 hours

** Procedures and Cases**

• Level 3 trauma center includes a certified stroke center
• Common cases include B&B pediatrics, ENT, ortho, and general surgery; higher-acuity pediatric cases are transferred out

** Requirements**

• Must be board certified in Emergency Medicine
• DEA certification required
• Kentucky state licensure or Interstate Medical License accepted

** Credentialing & Travel**

• Swift credentialing timeframe is 30–45 days with temporary privileges available for clean backgrounds
• Travel accommodations available for locum physicians
