General Surgery Assignment in West Virginia

A healthcare facility in West Virginia is seeking a General Surgeon to provide inpatient coverage during specific dates in November, December, March, April, and June.

** Practice Setting:**

• We are the largest health system in the area
• Average volume of 6-12 patients per day

• Hospital staff available for support

  • Charting: Epic

** Schedule:**

• 24-hour call during scheduled periods

** Cases and Procedures:**

• Full scope of general surgery, including upper and lower endoscopies

  • Round daily on assigned patients
  • Perform consults as needed

** Requirements:**

• Board-certified in General Surgery
• West Virginia medical license or Interstate Medical License
• 12 months of experience
• BLS and DEA certifications
