Gastroenterology Locums in New York with No Overnight Call

• Block Scheduling available: Only 12 days per 5-week rotation
• Ongoing Locums need with flexible scheduling
• Work with dedicated APP support for inpatient consults

Schedule

• May - December 2026
• Work approximately 12 days per 5-week rotation
• Daily shift hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No overnight weekday call required

Procedures and Cases

• Practice includes a mix of outpatient endoscopy and inpatient consult service
• Required procedures: Endoscopy and Colonoscopy
• Case management includes general GI conditions, cirrhosis, and acute IBD flares
• Anticipate performing ~40 procedures per week (elective, urgent, and emergent)
• Duties include capsule endoscopy interpretation

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
• Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Gastroenterology Fellowship is required
