Practice Setting

• Outpatient clinic at Akron Children’s
• Optional phone-only call for Level III hospital (3,000 deliveries/year)
• Team includes 6 MFMs, 4 APPs, OB, and behavioral health support
• EPIC charting system

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8a–4p
• Block scheduling possible
• Call coverage rotation is 1:3, moving to 1:4; not required

Cases and Procedures

• High-risk pregnancy management: diabetes, genetics, pump patients
• Procedures include amniocentesis, CVS, and cord sampling
• Consultative and co-management care model

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in MFM (within 5 years)
• Active Ohio license or IMLC LOQ
• BLS, DEA, PALS, and NRP required
