Flexible, high-acuity maternal fetal medicine assignment in Ohio with optional call and supportive team environment.

Highlights

Practice Setting

• Outpatient at Akron Children’s Clinic
• Phone-consult call only (optional) at Level III hospital with 3000 deliveries/year
• Collaborative group: 6 MFMs, 4 APPs, OB and behavioral health support

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8a–4p
• 1-week minimum per month, ongoing
• Block scheduling possible between weeks
• Call rotation currently 1:3, moving toward 1:4

Cases and Procedures

• High-risk pregnancies: diabetes, genetics, in-utero procedures
• Amniocentesis, CVS, cord sampling
• Consultative and co-management focus

Requirements

• Board certified or eligible in MFM (within 5 years)
• Active Ohio license or IMLC LOQ
• BLS, DEA, PALS, NRP required

Travel Accommodations

• Travel and lodging provided
• Regional physicians preferred (flight coverage limited)
