#### About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled General Radiologist to join our dynamic team serving two campuses in Hawaii. The role involves performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including plain films, ultrasound, and CT scans, with evening and weekend coverage responsibilities.
#### Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Imaging : Perform 50 plain films, 25 ultrasound exams, and 30 CT scans per shift.
- Call Coverage : Evening call from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm, with flexibility for taking call from home (unless contrast imaging is needed at a facility).
- Collaboration : Work alongside a group of 15-17 radiologists
- EMR : Use Epic (CareLink) and McKesson systems for patient records.
- Voice Recognition Dictation : Use Nuance for dictation.
#### Qualifications:
- Board Certification : American Board of Radiology certification required.
- License : Must hold an active Hawaii medical license.
- Education : M.D. required (D.O.s not considered at this time).
- BLS : Basic Life Support certification required; advanced life support certificates accepted in lieu.
- Trauma Level : Experience with Trauma Level I and Level II cases preferred.
- Modalities : Must be proficient in plain films, ultrasound, and CT. MRI experience is helpful but not required.
- COVID-19 : Proof of vaccination required for all locums; boosters not mandatory.
#### Work Schedule:
- Shifts : 7:30 am – 5:00 pm and Noon – 9:00 pm. Some weekend shifts required to allow staff radiologists time off.
- Evening Call : Scheduled from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm (on-call from home unless contrast imaging is needed).
- Nighthawk Coverage : 9:00 pm – 7:30 am daily (handled by Nighthawk).

- Credentialing : Credentialing typically takes 3 months, though emergency privileges may be granted for clean candidates.
