This orthopedic trauma assignment offers dedicated monthly trauma coverage with strong APP support and a focused inpatient practice at a regional Level II Trauma Center.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient orthopaedic trauma service at a Level II Trauma Center
• Long-bone fractures, open fractures, geriatric fracture care, and trauma stabilization
• Emergency department consults, inpatient rounding, and operative trauma cases
• Dedicated trauma physician assistant support, including weekends

Schedule

• Approximately 10 days of coverage per month
• Morning trauma operating room blocks
• Tuesday and Thursday afternoon clinic coverage
• Dedicated trauma call block structure

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active Minnesota license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification required
• Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
• ACLS, ATLS, and DEA required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are covered
• Expedited credentialing available for qualified candidates
