Practice Setting

• Inpatient diagnostic radiology coverage

• Volume expectations include plain film about 250 to 350 per day, or mixed workload around 50 wRVU per day

Schedule

• Weekday coverage is Monday through Friday
• Weekend coverage may be needed if covering the ER
• Flexible shift structuring is available, including options to read backlog during later hours
• Coverage need is ongoing, approximately 2 weeks per month, can be split between two physicians or arranged in block schedules

Cases and Procedures

• UGI and esophagram
• VCUG and HSG
• Fluoroscopy is optional, not required

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Diagnostic Radiology board certified, or board eligible within 5 years
• California license required, they will not wait for a license
