Practice Setting

• Inpatient adult cardiothoracic surgery coverage
• Level III trauma center environment with 95K ED visits annually
• Cerner EMR for documentation

Schedule

• 3 to 4 weekends per month, ongoing need
• Weekend call is 24/7 coverage
• Scheduled as a continuous weekend block from Friday morning through Monday morning

Cases and Procedures

• CABG program coverage
• TEE
• Endoscopic vein and radial artery harvesting performed by RNFAs
• Service line growth opportunities in minimally invasive, TAVR, off pump, and thoracic aortic work

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery CAQ
• Active California license required, will not wait for license
