OB/GYN Opportunity in Knoxville, Tennessee | Academic Medical Center
Join a hospital-employed OB/GYN group within a major academic medical center serving more than one million people across East Tennessee. This opportunity combines a full-scope practice with strong specialty support, advanced surgical resources, and the infrastructure of a tertiary referral center.
Position Highlights
- Full-scope OB/GYN with an approximately 50/50 split between obstetrics and gynecology
- Level I Trauma Center with a Level III NICU
- MFM team of 8 physicians and 3 fellows
- Clinic, triage, L&D, and ORs all co-located
- Dedicated OB/GYN surgical suites with accessible robotic block time
- Clinic volume of 20–28 patients per day
- Approximately 10–12 deliveries per month
- Optional outreach clinic opportunities
- Physicians manage their own surgery schedules
Schedule & Call
- 2–3 clinic days per week
- 4 overnight in-house shifts per month, ranging from 12–15 hours
- OB hospitalist support
- Day of and day after call protected from clinic duties
Compensation & Benefits
- $280,000 base salary in year one, increasing to $300,000 by year three
- $5,500 wRVU threshold with total earning potential up to $530,000
- $20,000 annual quality bonus
- 32 days of PTO inclusive of CME, vacation, and sick leave
- PSLF-eligible employer

Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Comfort with full-scope OB/GYN care in a high-volume academic setting
