Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner, Locums – North Carolina

PRN shifts available this summer in coastal North Carolina’s emergency department; 12-hour blocks with housing and travel covered.

Highlights:

• No call responsibilities
• Flexible PRN scheduling; November and December shifts open
• Coastal location with access to specialty consults

Practice Setting:

• 24-hour emergency department (12 hour shifts)
• ED with air/ground transport for transfers
• Support from full ED team and specialists (ortho, surgery, cardiology)
• Onsite lab and radiology access

Schedule:

• PRN shifts; pick dates that fit your schedule
• Multiple start time options: day, evening, and night
• Grouped shifts available to reduce travel frequency

Cases and Procedures:

• Treat all ages; from peds to geriatric
• No ICU or critical care responsibilities
• Must respond to emergency codes

Requirements:

• Licensed NP in North Carolina
• Board Certified ANP or FNP (with recent EM experience)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS (through AHA) and active DEA

Travel Accommodations:

• Airfare, hotel, car rental, and mileage reimbursed
