Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner, Locums – North Carolina
PRN shifts available this summer in coastal North Carolina’s emergency department; 12-hour blocks with housing and travel covered.
Highlights:
- No call responsibilities
- Flexible PRN scheduling; November and December shifts open
- Coastal location with access to specialty consults
Practice Setting:
- 24-hour emergency department (12 hour shifts)
- ED with air/ground transport for transfers
- Support from full ED team and specialists (ortho, surgery, cardiology)
- Onsite lab and radiology access
Schedule:
- PRN shifts; pick dates that fit your schedule
- Multiple start time options: day, evening, and night
- Grouped shifts available to reduce travel frequency
Cases and Procedures:
- Treat all ages; from peds to geriatric
- No ICU or critical care responsibilities
- Must respond to emergency codes
Requirements:
- Licensed NP in North Carolina
- Board Certified ANP or FNP (with recent EM experience)
- ACLS, BLS, PALS (through AHA) and active DEA
Travel Accommodations:
- Airfare, hotel, car rental, and mileage reimbursed
