Locums Medical Oncology Physician in Georgia - Flexible Schedule, Easy Call, Weekly Pay

Medical Oncologist needed in Georgia for an outpatient clinic with a defined call rotation and no hematology service. You will see adult medical oncology patients in Epic, with acute leukemia and BMT transferred out.

Practice Setting

• Outpatient medical oncology clinic, adult patient population
• Clinic volume averages 15 to 20 patients per day, mix of new consults and follow ups
• Epic EMR
• No hematology coverage, acute leukemia and BMT are transferred out

Schedule

• Clinic schedule is four days per week, either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday
• Clinic hours are 8a to 5p
• Weekday night call included in the rotation, covers hospital calls during the week
• Weekend call is one weekend per month, Friday at 5p through Monday at 8a

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology Oncology
• Georgia medical license required, Open to IMLC Physicians
• Comfortable practicing outpatient medical oncology with hospital call coverage as scheduled
