Otolaryngology locums in North Carolina, near Raleigh — flexible 1-week blocks with minimal call.

Highlights:

• Just 1 week/month — flexible and low-commitment
• Very light call — mostly phone consults, rare call-ins

Practice Setting:

• Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consults
• Full support team including 2 PAs and 2 other physicians
• 3 exam rooms per provider; MAs support patient flow and scribing
• EPIC charting system

Schedule:

• Monday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM (full week commitment)
• Half-day of admin, 3.5 days clinic, Friday surgery block
• Surgeries scheduled only if needed — clinic fills unused time

Cases and Procedures:

• Bread-and-butter ENT: tonsils, adenoids, sinus procedures
• No trauma, no plastics, no facial reconstruction
• Clinic volume ~16 patients/day; 2–3 OR cases when scheduled

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Otolaryngology
• Active North Carolina license
• BLS and DEA certifications required

Travel Accommodations:

• Lodging and mileage reimbursed
