Practice Setting

• Inpatient only at a hospital with a 12-bed women’s and children’s unit
• RNs and MA onsite during shifts

Schedule

• ASAP start; ongoing call pool coverage
• Flexible call dates available
• Estimated 3–8 patients per shift

Cases and Procedures

• Routine and complicated deliveries including C-section, breech, and multiple births
• High- and low-risk pregnancies
• Circumcisions and surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic)

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active North Carolina license required (not open to IMLC)
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP required
