## North Carolina OB-GYN - Fast Credentialing

Practice Setting

• Inpatient setting at a PEDS Level 2 hospital
• Department has 12 beds
• Supported by a team of 2 RNs and 1 MA
• Expect to see 3-8 patients per shift

Schedule

• Call-only coverage with a 1:4 call ratio
• Beeper call with a 15 minute response time

Procedures and Cases

• Required experience with low and high-risk pregnancy
• Extensive skills in routine and complicated deliveries, c-sections, and vaginal deliveries
• Required experience with circumcisions
• Surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Must have an active North Carolina license
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Must be able to perform admissions

Credentialing Requirements

• Estimated credentialing timeframe of only 15 days
• Temporary privileges available
