Practice Setting

• PEDS Level II hospital with 12-bed women’s and children’s unit
• Strong RN and MA support
• Meditech EMR

Schedule

• Beeper call, 15-minute response time required
• Ongoing schedule, pick your dates
• Average 3–8 patients seen per shift

Cases and Procedures

• Routine and complicated deliveries: C-sections, breech, multiples
• Low- and high-risk pregnancies
• Circumcisions required
• Surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic)

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active North Carolina license required (not open to IMLC)
• ACLS, NRP, and PALS required
