Urology Opportunity in Richmond, IN

You’ll step into an established urology service line with a strong internal and regional referral pipeline and the resources to support high-volume general urology. This is a General Urology position with room to build procedural offerings that patients are already asking for (including HoLEP). Practice Overview

  • You’ll join a high-volume urology/urogynecology service line with 2 full-time urologists, 4 urology APPs, plus urogynecology support already in place
  • Employed practice model with hospitalist support for inpatient admissions (excluding scheduled surgical admissions)
  • Broad general urology scope with in-office procedures including cystoscopy, prostate biopsy, vasectomy, urodynamics, and bladder cancer immunotherapy
  • Well-equipped OR: Xi robot, holmium laser (with backup), digital scopes, and dedicated specialty OR teams; EPIC EMR

Schedule

  • Full-time clinical schedule with a balanced clinic/OR model (typically 2 surgical blocks, dedicated admin time, and the remainder in clinic; anesthesia availability may adjust blocks)
  • Call is 1:4 with APPs taking first call; Level III trauma environment with infrequent overnight emergencies
  • Predominantly general urology volume with urogynecology already established—minimal expectation to carry subspecialty-heavy work
  • Built-in support staff to keep your day moving: 1–2 MAs per provider, triage/chemo RN, and centralized prior-auth assistance

Compensation & Benefits

  • $600,000 base salary guarantee (Years 1–2); transitions in Year 3 to $570,000 base plus productivity and incentives
  • Productivity: $65.44 per wRVU with an annual threshold of 8,711 wRVUs; Value-Based Incentives up to $14,750 starting Year 3
