Practice Overview

  • Join two experienced surgeons
  • Perform the full spectrum of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery
  • Provide inpatient, emergency, and consultation services across the medical center
  • Collaborative environment with cardiology and specialty colleagues

Schedule

  • Balanced mix: 50% clinic and 50% OR time
  • Call shared equally with partner (week-on, week-off model)
  • In-town call only, described as “not overly burdensome”
  • Minimal after-hours interruptions with strong support team

Candidate Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • 5+ years of experience strongly preferred; 1–2 years post-training considered for exceptional candidates
  • Eligible for Mississippi medical licensure
  • Commitment to high-quality surgical care and patient outcomes
  • J1/H1b visas sponsored
