## Orthopedic Surgery PA Opportunity in Easton, MD

This is an Orthopedic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (PA) position with a respected, high-volume orthopedic program and strong support across clinic, imaging, rehab, and surgery. Practice Overview

  • You’ll join a seasoned team of 7 orthopedic PAs/APPs with long-tenured colleagues and strong peer support
  • Comprehensive ortho service lines: total joints, sports, foot & ankle, and general orthopedics; on-site PT/OT/SLP and ancillary diagnostics
  • On-site surgery center handling the majority of cases, with hospital OR access for call-related/acute needs
  • APPs take primary call and manage consults with surgeon backup when operative care is needed

Schedule

  • Mirrors surgeon workflow: typically 2–3 clinic days and 1–2 OR days each week
  • Clinic flow: patients generally 7:45am–4:30pm (last scheduled patient around 4:00pm); average ~20 patients/day
  • Call: 1:7 weekdays/weekends, with option to pick up additional paid call; must be within ~30 minutes while on call
  • Weekend flexibility is built in (trading/splitting shifts is common based on team availability)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary plus quarterly productivity bonus (typical total potential up to $160K+)
  • Paid call: $200 week days and $500 weekends with opportunities for extra shifts if you want!
  • Time off: 3 weeks PTO + 1 week sick leave + 1 week CME and $3,000 CME allowance
  • Benefits include occurrence malpractice, fully paid health/dental/vision (including family), licensure/certification reimbursement, and pension/profit sharing

Candidate Requirements

  • PA or NP considered (preference for PA); must be able to see all ages
  • 1-2+ years of orthopedic surgery experience preferred
  • Board certified/board eligible
  • US citizen or Green Card holder; strong communication skills and comfort adapting to surgeon preferences
