    We're looking for a Board Certified Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist for an inpatient assignment in Massachusetts. This short-term coverage offers scheduled clinical hours only with no call requirement. Secure your dates starting late November!

    Practice Setting

    • Inpatient setting.
    • Work in an Acute psychiatric unit/institute with 22 beds.
    • See an average of 10-12 patients per shift.
    • No required supervision of Advance Practice Providers or Residents/Teaching.
    • The ratio of follow-up to new evaluations is 10:1.

    Schedule

    • Flexible schedule available—you pick the shift-based dates that work for you.
    • Coverage is for Scheduled Clinical Hours Only (Days, 8:00 AM start time).
    • No Admissions Required.

    Procedures and Cases

    • Required Clinical Areas include Anxiety, Affective, ADD/ADHD, Personality, Eating, Development, Psychotic, and Organic disorders.
    • Treatment techniques include Pharmacotherapy, Group therapy, Family therapy, and ECT.
    • Familiarity With Involuntary commitments, Seclusion therapy, and Restraint application.

    Requirements

    • Physician Board Certified in Psychiatry - Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
    • MUST be Child and Adolescent Certified.
    • Active MA License is required to bid on this locums role.
    • Required Certifications include ACLS , BLS , PALS , and ABLS.

    Credentialing Requirements

    • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe is 60 days.
    • Temporary privileges are available to speed up the process.
